Beaming White Professional Teeth Whiteningteeth whitening

The Procedure;
The procedure is very simple. Hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth. A cold blue light is placed directly in front of the customer’s exposed teeth and run for 15-20 minutes per treatment. 3 treatments will be performed during the same session. Our kit uses a cheek retractor and an application pen with 16% hydrogen peroxide instead of a mouth tray and a syringe.
Advantages of this type of application kit;
It is more effective because the gel has a 16% hydrogen peroxide concentration (the highest concentration in the market for cosmetic teeth whitening).
-    there is no mouth tray interfering between the light and the teeth.
-    it’s safer because the gel is applied directly to the teeth so no gel squeezes onto the gums; hence it does not cause gum irritation
-    it’s more comfortable because the cheek retractor keeps the customer’s mouth open without any effort on their part

The equipment we use;
At Outline Health Studio we use the Futura 2400 teeth whitening light which is the most technologically sophisticated teeth whitening lamp in the industry. It has 8 powerful 3W Osram blue LED’s made in Germany for a total of 24W, making it the most powerful LED teeth whitening light ever designed.
Although there are significant differences among the teeth whitening lights available in the market, the most important factor is the gel. Hydrogen peroxide works much better than carbamide peroxide. 16% hydrogen peroxide is the strongest teeth bleaching gel that can be used without the use of a gingival barrier.

Expected results;
In this business, results are the most important thing so we take it very seriously. The more treatments that are performed the better the results that are obtained but a cosmetic teeth whitening treatment will NOT make the teeth pearly white. How much whiter really depends on a multitude of factors, including how stained the teeth are before whitening, what kind of staining agent caused most of the coloration, how well the person’s enamel reacts to peroxide and the number of treatments performed. Most people will get impressive results of between 2 and 6 shade drops.

Carbamide vs. Hydrogen Peroxide

The first thing you should know about hydrogen peroxide is that it is what dentists use for chair-side, in-office treatments. No dentist would ever use carbamide peroxide for an in-office treatment – they give patients take-home kits with carbamide but will never use it in office. Dentists get the best results in our industry because they use a very high concentration of hydrogen peroxide, so you should use what dentists use but in a concentration that does not require a gum protector. Anyone that tells you that dentists use carbamide peroxide is lying, since no dentist uses it for in-office treatments.

When you get your teeth whitened, hydrogen peroxide is what actually whitens them. Even if you are using carbamide peroxide, what actually whitens your teeth is hydrogen peroxide. Something that many people don’t know is that carbamide peroxide is made from hyrdrogen peroxide. To create carbamide peroxide, a urea molecule is added to the hydrogen peroxide molecule and the result is carbamide peroxide. Please note that there is a 3:1 relationship between carbamide and hydrogen. For example, 12% hydrogen peroxide is theoretically equivalent to 36% carbamide peroxide. However, as you’ll see below, this doesn’t mean that you’ll get the same results with 36% carbamide and 12% hydrogen peroxide. So don’t think that because someone offers you 35% carbamide that you are getting a 3x higher concentration than 12% hydrogen peroxide.

In order for carbamide peroxide to whiten your teeth, it must first break down into hydrogen peroxide. The problem in using carbamide in chair-side treatments that are 15 to 20 minutes is that it takes at least 15 minutes for carbamide peroxide to begin to break down into hydrogen peroxide (and longer to completely break down). Only when the carbamide peroxide has broken down into hydrogen peroxide can it begin to whiten your teeth. So if you use carbamide peroxide for teeth whitening during a 20-minute treatment, your customer will only have a little hydrogen peroxide on his/her teeth for 5 minutes. That’s why most people that use carbamide peroxide are not happy with the results.

Most teeth whitening suppliers choose to use carbamide peroxide because it causes less gum irritation than hydrogen peroxide. However, it doesn’t cause gum irritation because it doesn’t become hydrogen peroxide till the end of the treatment, so you just get NO results. The Beaming White system uses 16% hydrogen peroxide yet gives little or no gum irritation along with spectacular results. If you don’t believe the scientific study and if you don’t believe us that this is the best system, source your own kits and get some from another supplier and compare the results. Nobody else will suggest this to you. We do because we know that after trying it you’ll continue to use our system.
